Bank of America Grant Helps Support CCSC's Mission

A $30,000 grant from Bank of America is helping drive Christian Community Service Center’s mission to increase the financial stability of low-income Houston families through CCSC’s Workforce Development Program, which helps underserved job seekers improve their economic success.

CCSC provides services to a wide range of job seekers, from recent high school graduates to retirees looking to re-enter the workforce.

These services include career coaching, resume and interview workshops, computer classes, and vocational training to start a residential housekeeping business or become a nonmedical home caregiver.

“At Bank of America, we deeply understand that access to job training and opportunities is woven into the fabric of what creates strong communities,” said Hong Ogle, President of Bank of America Houston. “Christian Community Service Center works tirelessly to help underserved job seekers improve their economic success and contribute to the financial stability of low-income families. It is through the work of our invaluable nonprofit partners, like CCSC, that we are delivering on our commitment to build communities that thrive across the Houston area.”
