A Bank of America grant is helping drive Christian Community Service Center’s mission to increase the financial stability of low-income Houston families through CCSC’s Workforce Development Program, which helps underserved job seekers improve their economic success.
CCSC provides services to a wide range of job seekers, from recent high school graduates to retirees looking to re-enter the workforce. These services include career coaching, resume and interview workshops, computer classes, and vocational training to start a residential housekeeping business or become a nonmedical home caregiver.
“At Bank of America, we deeply understand that equitable access to job training and opportunities is woven into the fabric of what creates strong communities. Christian Community Service Center works tirelessly to help underserved job seekers improve their economic success and contribute to the financial stability of low-income families. It is through the work of our invaluable nonprofit partners, like CCSC, that we are delivering on our commitment to build communities that thrive across the Houston area,” said Hong Ogle, President, Bank of America Houston.
“CCSC’s mission and Bank of America’s commitment to building thriving communities come together to help change the financial trajectory of low-income Houston families,” CCSC Senior Director of Development Sara Pybus said. “We appreciate all Bank of America does to help CCSC help those in need.” To learn more about CCSC’s Workforce Development Program, visit CCSC's website HERE.
