Our Team

Michelle’s dedication to the mission of Christian Community Service Center began when she first volunteered with CCSC in 1988. In 1993, she was hired to direct our Emergency Services program and in 1995 she was promoted to Executive Director. Today, Michelle serves as President & CEO and is known for her depth of knowledge on the issues of hunger and underemployment and her ability to build coalitions to tackle those issues.

Michelle’s creativity in applying her early corporate business expertise to CCSC’s nonprofit mission was recognized by the Houston Business Journal in 2018 with a Women Who Mean Business Award and in 2021 when they named her one of Houston’s Most Admired CEOs.

Under Michelle’s forward-focused leadership, CCSC created an endowment for long-term financial stability, closed and opened programs in response to changing community needs, and raised funds to build a facility that enhances our interface with those we serve.

Michelle gives back to the community by serving on nonprofit boards. Currently, she serves on the boards of the Nick Finnegan Counseling Center and St. Thomas Episcopal School. A graduate of Texas A&M University with a BBA in marketing, Michelle and her husband, Scott, have two children, Jessica and Mark.
