PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY – Children entering pre-K through 12th grade in August 2023 with limited resources and living with their parent/guardian in one of the following zip codes are eligible for the program. Zip codes:

Proof of address (example: lease agreement, utility bill, school letter) and ID (birth certificate, passport, driver’s license) – photocopy acceptable. Children do NOT need to attend registration.

Louise J. Moran Vision Care Program
Louise J. Moran Vision Care Program provides professional eye exams and eyeglasses to students whose families are in need. The program is coordinated through a few, pre-selected Houston Independent School District and charter/private school campuses each school year. This program is not open to the general public.

Jingle Bell Express
Jingle Bell Express is a Christmas program offering toys, books and food (all free of charge) to children in need living in CCSC's service area.
Program Eligibility 2022:
Children ages 0 - 15 years old with limited resources and living with their parent/guardian in one of these zip codes: 77002, 77003, 77004, 77005, 77006, 77007, 77009, 77010, 77011, 77012, 77016, 77019, 77020, 77021, 77023, 77025, 77026, 77027, 77028, 77029, 77030, 77031, 77033, 77036, 77046, 77056, 77057, 77072, 77074, 77081, 77096, 77098, 77401

Complete all 3 steps to register (before September 20, 2022)
1. Complete online preregistration https://forms.gle/2vYEhpHDW1DhFzfX9 (CLICK the "More About This Program" LINK AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE TO ACCESS THE REGISTRATION FORM)
2. Wait for a text (in September, CCSC will text or email you a registration appointment)
3. Attend in-person registration - parent attends Jingle Bell Express registration October 5-7 at Bellaire UMC to complete toy wish list. Bring proof of address, parent's photo identification & children's birth certificates.
All registered families receive an invitation to attend CCSC’s Jingle Bell Express drive-thru event on December 9-10, 2022, to pick up toys, books and a food gift card. -

Emergency Services-Southwest offers food packages and financial assistance for rent, utility assistance, and limited medical needs. We also provide information about resources that can help in other ways (shelter, legal assistance, etc.).Address: 6856 Bellaire Blvd., Houston, TX 77074 (accessible by METRO routes including #002 & #082)

Professional Home Caregiver Training Program
The Professional Home Caregiver Training Program prepares people to serve as nonmedical caregivers for older adults and others who need assistance with daily activities. Our 50+ hour nonmedical training covers relationship building, technical skills, hands on support techniques, dementia and provides business and marketing strategies to find and keep clients.Address: Locations vary

Services Offered: 50+ hour training that equips nonmedical caregivers to work for an agency, open a small business, and/or work directly for families. Graduates have access to job leads and other supports.

Martha’s Way
Martha’s Way provides training in Spanish for people interested in opening or expanding their own housekeeping business. Our 42 hour curriculum includes instruction in professional development, business development, and technical skills for eco-friendly residential housekeeping.Address: Martha’s Way training is delivered in locations throughout Houston.
