CCSC Seeks a Part-Time Home Caregiver Program Manager
Christian Community Service Center (CCSC) is a well-established social service organization in central/southwest Houston working to alleviate the effects of poverty. CCSC is currently searching for a professional to join its team as a part-time Home Caregiver Program Manager.
The primary responsibilities of the Home Caregiver Program Manager (part-time, 28 hours/week, nonexempt) include:
Requirements for consideration: At least one year of nonprofit program management experience and one year of experience in a training or educational role. An associate’s degree in a related field is required. The successful candidate must be a skilled communicator, have experience with program coordination and management, database entry and reporting, and program assessment and evaluation; and be highly organized. Due to the nature of this role, only Christian applicants will be considered.
Position Requirements: This position primarily works in an office setting. Must be able to remain in a stationary position to develop training materials and complete administrative tasks. Needs to move inside or outside the office space to conduct hands-on training, supervise caregivers, and travel to meetings.

CCSC Seeks a Full-Time Special Events Manager
Christian Community Service Center is a well-established social service organization in central/southwest Houston working to alleviate the effects of poverty. CCSC is seeking a professional and motivated leader to join its staff as the full-time Special Events Manager.
The Special Events Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of CCSC’s annual donor events with the goal of increasing revenue and participation in CCSC’s mission. The Special Events Manager works closely with the Senior Development Director, event chairs, and committees to execute successful events.
Primary responsibilities of the Special Events Manager: Plan, coordinate and organize all aspects of CCSC’s annual donor events; identify, recruit and manage fundraising committee volunteers; seek sponsorships/underwriting for events; manage event budgets, monitor revenue and expenses, and develop and adhere to event timelines; negotiate agreements with vendors for events and ensure vendors meet agreement commitments and resolve any vendor issues; research and recommend event vendors; solicit, receive, organize and acknowledge auction items for designated events; oversee event marketing materials for events, including letters, emails, newsletter stories, social media posts, and video; manage all day-of-event logistics, including set-up, volunteer coordination, program, and tear down; serve as primary contact for third party fundraising inquiries and events; and other duties as assigned.
Requirements for consideration: 2+ years of experience coordinating large fundraising events of 500+ in attendance with a proven track record for generating event revenue; a Bachelor’s degree; experience with volunteer committee management; strong project management skills, including time management, multi-tasking, and adhering to budgets, timelines, and scope; knowledge or strong interest in principles and best practices of effective and successful fundraising concepts, and appropriate solicitation techniques; excellent communication skills (both verbal and written); ability to work in a collaborative environment with a variety of diverse stakeholders; proficiency with technology, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Canva, Adobe and donor management software (experience with Bloomerang preferred). Due to the nature of this role, only Christian applicants will be considered.
Position requirements: Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery to correspond with coworkers, vendors and volunteers, must be able to remain in a stationary position to do so. The person in this position must be able to move inside the office and event spaces to interact with coworkers, volunteers and vendors. This work requires individuals to occasionally move chairs, tables and other equipment related to events. Must be able to observe and inspect vendor goods and services and determine if they meet contractual agreements. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally and transport objects or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds. This position communicates directions and requirements to volunteers and vendors. Must have the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
