We believe families serving together are a catalyst for change in our community. Join us for a service project your entire family can participate in!
During Family Service Day, families learn about poverty in Houston and the impact of CCSC’s work, and they participate in a service project benefiting the individuals and families who seek help from CCSC.
One-hour volunteer shifts will be available from 1 to 4:00 p.m. Family Service Day is designed for families with children in kindergarten through 6th grade. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and families will serve together.
The price to participate is one bag of nonperishable food per family for our food pantries.
